Delhi Awas Yojna has been out in a place with the sole motive of doing away with the home requirements of the people of Delhi. This plan is the thought-child of Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India. It has been introduced in Delhi with the sole objective of solving the homeownership issues of the people of Delhi.

Why MPD 2021 Has Been Put in Place?

Considering the huge city that Delhi is and also the fact that it is the capital of India, many people from different walks of life make their way towards this city either for studies or for employment. The government has thus come up with the Delhi Land Pooling Policy and the Master Plan Delhi 2021 for making it possible for people to find homes in the national capital. These schemes have led to the development of Dwarka Society Homes where spaces are available to interested home buyers within ranges they can easily afford.

The Delhi Affordable Housing Scheme will be offering affordable housing solutions to the needy in the national capital. The projects developed under this scheme will have houses reserved for women. So, in a way, the plan also aims at improving the lives of women not only in Delhi but throughout India.
